Dark Forces was LucasArts'
answer to id software's Doom. Did LucasArts ever do a good job with
this game. It was one of the few true competitors to Doom. This game
may have lacked multiplayer support but it was not necessary for this
game to become a booming success. It is one of the best single player
only games ever. It is quite possible this game is the best 3D
shooter without multiplayer support.
