Quad Damage - The
most devastating of all power ups in Quake 2. It basically quadruples the damage you do
with all weapons (with the exception of the BFG 10K). With the BFG 10K only the final
explosion does 4X damage not the beams which shoot out from the main ball. Other than that
all the other weapons do 4X damage and with the Power Amplifier Tech they will do 8X
damage. |

Silencer - This
muffles the sound of your weapon firing. It is most effective with non- energy weapons.
Energy weapons can be easily traced with the lighting effects, but a Machine Gun or
Shotgun is more difficult. It is useful for sneak attacks but once you get into a battle
where the other person can see you it is useless. |

Bandolier - This
increases the carrying capacity you have for all types of ammo, except for rockets and
grenades. Check out the Ammo page for the info on how
much your carrying capacity is increased. |

Backpack - Just like
the Bandolier in that it increases your ammo carrying capacity, except it increases it by
a lot more. This increases your carrying capacity for ALL weapons and it also gives you
one unit of ammo for each weapon (10 shells, 50 bullets, 5 grenades, 5 rockets, 10 slugs,
