GDI
Minigunners
Pro: Kick ass in large numbers, Cheap
Con: Die easy
Why we care: They make a real cool squishing sound
Grendadiers
Pro: Good in large numbers, faster than the minigunners, strong grendades
Con: Easy to kill, injury unit directly adjacent to them when they die
Why we care: They squish nearly as well as the minigunners
Rocket
Soldier
Pro: Works well in groups, better against mechanized units than any other infantry
Con: Squishable, slow, weak against other infantry
Why we care: Hate it when they kill the unit trying to squish them
Commando
Pro: Says cool stuff, kills all infantry with only one shot
Con: Sucks against mechanized units
Why we care: Just love hearing him say, "I gotta present for ya!"
Engineer
Pro: Capture enemy buildings
Con: Expensive, slow, killed easy
Why we care: APC's full of these guys change courses of battles
Humm-vee
Pro: Fast, cheap, more powerful than infantry, works well against infantry
Con: Weak armour, only have a machine gun, doesn't do well against tanks
Why we care: They make very good escort vehicles for APC's or tanks
APC
(Armoured Personnel Carrier)
Pro: Fast, carries units, good armour
Con: Weak offensive weaponry, expensive
Why we care: The best unit for squishing minigunners
Medium
Tank
Pro: More powerful and better armour than Nod's Light Tank
Con: Can have its ass kicked by scores of infantry
Why we care: Best tank for tank rushes and squishing minigunners is also relatively easy
Mobile
Rocket Launch System (MRLS)
Pro: Can attack any kind of unit, long range
Con: Vulnerable to any unit that gets close, weak armour
Why we care: Excellent support during tank rushes
Mammoth
Tank
Pro: Extremely powerful, well armoured, can attack aerial units, when badly damaged repairs itself to 50% health
Con: Slow as dirt, can't squish minigunners effectively, expensive
Why we care: Best bang for your hard earned tiberium
Orca
Vtol Assault Craft
Pro: Very fast, powerful missiles, awsome in numbers
Con: Expensive, vulnerable to rocket soldiers and SAM sites
Why we care: Its fun to see "Death From Above" in action
Transport
"Chinook" Helicopter
Pro: Carries units aerially
Con: Expensive, slow, limited usage capability
Why we care: Excellent way to sneak engineers into an enemy base during a ground attack
Mobile
Construction Vehicle (MCV)
Pro: Lets you move to where you want a base
Con: Slow, unarmed, expensive
Why we care: The more of these you have the faster you can build structures
Harvester
Pro: Gets money, good armour, can harvest minigunners
Con: Slow, expensive, unarmed
Why we care: It gets money, need we say more?
Hover Craft
Never get to build one or control one so nobody cares.

Ground Support Aircraft (More commonly known as an Air Strike.)
Pro: Levels enemy infantry
Con: Available only in solo play and if you get it in a crate in multiplayer
Why we care: Fun to see the enemy run around on fire
Gunboat
Pro: Fast rate of fire, powerful missiles
Con: Available only in solo play, limited range, predetermined path
Why we care: Can kill this instead of valuable ground units
Ion Cannon
Pro: Levels almost any building in 1 shot.
Con: Slow recharging, requires an Advanced Communications Centre.
Why We Care: Extremely powerful and best used on that little minigunner standing in the middle of that tiberium field.
